It is apparent that the participants in the gatherings and rituals of Imam Husain (a.s.) are a lot greater in number and undoubtedly, this is due to the fact that it is only Allah Almighty who wishes for this to occur. He (s.w.t.) has made Imam Husain (a.s) and his matter an exception, just as the Prophet (s.a.w.a.), Imam Ali (a.s.), Fatimah al-Zahra (a.s.) and all the Imams (a.s.) up until Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) had dealt with the incident of Ashooraa in an exclusive manner.

In regards to Imam Husain (a.s.), Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) said:
“And for you, I shall shed blood instead of tears”.
